An exciting time for Families in Ontario! 

The Canada Wide Early Learning & Child Care (CWELCC) agreement was signed. After 50 years of advocacy, a national system is one step closer. Ontario's deal will lower child care fees and provide more accessible, high-quality child care, including delivering an average of $10-a-day child care by September 2025.

Agencies are required to apply and be approved. The deadline to apply is 

November 1, 2022. 

Applies only to children ages 0-5 in licensed child care including Licensed Home Child Care.

The "fee floor" is $12 a day, meaning fees will not be any lower unless you are in receipt of fee subsidy. Regular fees remain payable until further notice.
