School Age Programs

School Age Programs are a creative and fun opportunity for children to receive care before and after school under the supervision of a registered early childhood educator or otherwise approved staff at their school location. Oxford Community Child Care has partnered with the Thames Valley District School Board and Conseil Scolaire de District des Écoles Catholiques de Sud-Ouest to offer programs in many local schools.

Programs open at 7:30am and operate until school starts and again after school ends until 5:30pm, each school day. Programs may be offered on PA Days, school breaks and summer if there is sufficient interest from families. There are several different types of school age programs available. The type of program offered at each school is dependent on the ages and numbers of children enrolled.

Blended Programs – a ratio of 13:1, children aged 4 to 12 combined.
Early Years Program – a ratio of 13:1, children in JK/SK only.
School Age Program – a ratio of 15:1, children in grades 1 to 6 only.
